| Hello, so let me introduce myself in this new corner My name is Kamil Szepanski, I am 23 right now and living in Bayreuth - Germany. The region where I live has the highest density of breweries in the whole wide world - you can imagine what my favourite drink is? But to be honest I'm not born in Germany. I was born in the north (at the Baltic sea) of Poland. I can speak french, at least that good, that I would survive - but I am unable to write on french, so you can write me in German, Polish and English. My absolute favourite Genus is Triturus, especially the small ones like vulgaris and boscai. But due to the german legislation and rules to keep them I decided to concentrate on Plethodontids and other USA urodela now. You can see what I keep HERE. I think that is fine for now Best Greetings, Kamil | |

| That's great. I think we will only speak to you in English,I speak a little German but I must be the sole among the mods to do so. Could you tell us more about German laws concerning newts and salamanders?I thought they were all possible to keep and breed. Could you also list your species? Some of us regularly go to Terraristika Hamm and here in France we find it hard to find other species than axolotls, pleurodeles and cynops most of the time. So if you breed some of your species, you will raise people's interest for sure! Your contributions to share knowledge will also be much appreciated, you can write care sheets in English about the species you breed, for instance. We will then translate them into French. | |

| Hi, this is the click&paste from my "stock"-link above - triturus.de a écrit:
I keep following species at moment: # Ambystoma maculatum (Spottedsalamander) # Ambystoma jeffersonianum (Jeffersonssalamander) # Eurycea bislineata (Twolined-Salamander) # Desmognathus fuscus (Dusky Salamander) # Desmognathus ochrophaeus (Nothern Dusky Salamander) # Gyrinophilus porphyriticus (Springsalamander) # Hemidactylium scutatum (Fourtoedsalamander) # Notophtalmus viridescens (Eastern Newt) # Paramesotriton laoensis (Laos Wartynewt) # Plethodon cinereus (Redbacksalamander) # Plethodon glutinosus (Slimysalamander) # Pseudobranchus axanthus (Dwarf-Siren) # Pseudotriton ruber # Triturus boscai (Boscas Newt) # Triturus pygmaeus (Pygmy Marbled-Newt)
I don't write caresheets that willingly (as you can see on my homepage) - I usually only take pictures and comment them or take videos (like those on my homepage). I have visited La Ferme Tropical at new year as I have been in Paris. They had many rare, starting with Ambystoma gracile, Ambystoma macrodactylum and then D. fuscus, P. cinereus, Paramesotriton chinensis and the omnipresent N. kaiseri. I have bred Hemidactylium last year and hope to repeat the same this year :-) Best Greetings, Kamil | |

| many thanks for this presentation indeed, as Thorrshamri said, it is difficult to find a variety of caudates here in France. the Ferme Tropicale shop sometimes has rare species, but most of the time they are wild caught (such as the Neurergus kaiseri you gave as example) and in poor condition... even in great shows like Hamm, there are not many caudates... the species you breed are really nice and rare ones, it's a pleasure to have you here if you have other photos of your animals, please don't hesitate! | |

| Tagchen Kamil! Wie sagt man "In the Multilingual Caudata Dialogue section, a single question is asked each month in all the languages of the category. At the end of the month, a summary translated by our moderators is proposed to compare the various opinions." auf Deutsch? | |
